Corn Elfs early design costume.

It was thought better that the Corn Elf have long sleeves on his top as he was to be played by a puppet. This made making him easier, not having to think about sculpting the arms. Instead the costume worked in our advantage and it also gave us somewhere to insert the blue rods to operate the arms when he was used as a real time puppet. The costume was also useful for when he was adapted for stop motion, the jointed hinges were able to be disguised again by the long sleeves.

The Corn Elf pendent has a small Wood Scrotes head tooth dangling from it, (good luck words are written on it), there are two spears behind the tooth , they represent a friend or family member killed by a Wood Scrote.
Wood Scrotes are the Corn Elf's most deadliest enemy, they secrete a wood resin and if a Corn Elf should be unlucky enough to stand in it he becomes stuck, The Wood Scrote will then jump like a jack hammer on top of the Corn Elf splattering him into a pulp, the Wood Scrote then uses its many pincers to chop up the Corn Elf into small pieces to put into its mouth, which is on top of its head.

The Corn Elf's Weapon Pipe can play harmless music but it can be used to fire several poisonous darts at once, some Corn Elf's do not use Weapon Pipes but instead use Toppling Bolls that wrap themselves around the base of the Wood Scrote, (see story board).
